Jakarta, 12 July 2024 - JBL Indonesia is officially appealing to all customers and the general public regarding scams on behalf of JBL. All official JBL customer promos and programmes are only shared through JBL's official social media accounts and are free of charge.
There have been an increasing number of reports of scams claiming to be representatives of audio technology companies or well-known brands targeting victims by offering incentive programmes with monetary rewards which are neither endorsed nor conducted by JBL or HARMAN. JBL Indonesia urges the public to be cautious of suspicious offers requesting money transfers from individuals claiming to be JBL representatives. To ensure safe shopping, we recommend only going through our official website at JBLstore.co.id, JBL authorised stores in selected marketplaces, or the nearest JBL offline store.
JBL Indonesia urges the public to be cautious in accepting offers or programmes that promise a large profit value by asking victims to transfer a certain amount of money as a guarantee with a return that often occurs on communication platforms, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or other applications.
The following are tips and knowledge for the public to avoid fraud on behalf of JBL:
Check the official JBL account with the verification tick on social media.
Official promotions and competitions from JBL or HARMAN never request any fees from customers, either as a guarantee or registration in relation to such promotions or competitions.
At no time has JBL or HARMAN offered cash incentives or a percentage commission to the general public.
